After 15 years as a practicing attorney, primarily prosecuting domestic violence, I changed careers to allow me to help women in an entirely different way.  I completed the Association of Texas Midwives Training Program in 2013 and graduated as Student of the Year.  I passed the NARM exam and became a Certified Professional Midwife then a Licensed Midwife in the State of Minnesota.  I am also an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and offer lactation-only visits and insurance billing for non-midwifery clients as well. I can evaluate and assist with tongue tie management.

I offer visits at my office in Buffalo and also at my home office in Zimmerman. I will attend births up to 100 miles from Zimmerman.   For added convenience for those within 50 miles of Zimmerman I also offer ALL-IN-HOME care.  All of your prenatal and postpartum visits in the comfort of your own home for an additional fee.

I come to Midwifery with a feminist view; that a woman is perfectly capable of making her own decisions about her care and the care of her child. Testing including ultrasound is offered but not required (except initial blood draw for OB panel).  I offer free use of an inflatable birth pool if you wish and am comfortable assisting you with a VBAC or twins.
