Membership is open to midwives, students, apprentices, consumers, and others supporting the Midwifery Model of Care as practiced by CPMs. Membership in MCCPM is an opportunity and a privilege.

There are 2 types of membership in MCCPM: Active and Associate
Active Members: Current CPMs, non-practicing CPMs, students, and other types of midwives.
Required to vote, pay the annual due (fee), attend quarterly membership meetings, participate in annual Peer Review, participate in annual anti-racism or anti-oppression course/training.
Privileges include support from the legal defense fund, eligibility to hold an office position in MCCPM, midwife bio/business listing on MCCPM website, participation on MCCPM email list, and access to carry an MCCPM Hearing Screening Machine.
Annual Dues (fee): $75.00--$150.00
Associate Members: Any person who supports the mission of MCCPM and wants to participate in the organization.
Required to pay a lower tier of annual due (fee), attend quarterly meetings as desired, participate in annual anti-racism or anti-oppression course/training.
Privileges include participation on the MCCPM email list
Annual Dues (fee): $30.00--$100.00
Special Note: Membership fees are waived for members who belong to communities who experience systemic oppression, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, people with disabilities, etc. No member shall be denied active status due to inability to pay.
Special Note: BIPOC Members are not required to participate in an annual annual anti-racism or anti-oppression course/training.
