Each birthing woman and baby deserve respectful, personalized care as their dance is unique and beautiful. Birthing in the comfort of your home with a midwife, provides an opportunity to birth naturally with someone you know and trust. As a midwife, I attend women with a believing heart and gentle watchfulness; the blend of art and science. Care is provided for mother and baby throughout pregnancy and to 6 weeks postpartum. Both land and water births are delightfully supported.

I started attending birthing women in 2002, first as a doula and pregnancy massage specialist; soon after as an assistant to various CPM's. I collected a rich bouquet of experiences to take forward into an apprenticeship for midwifery. Upon successful completion of my apprenticeship and national test, I received my Certified Professional Midwife credential through the North American Registry of Midwives. I am licensed in WI (MN is not required) and certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and CPR.

My husband and I have 3 grown sons, wonderful daughters in law & 10 grandchildren! We live in Stillwater. I serve women and their families in MN and WI.
