With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, my primary goal is to continue to provide compassionate and culturally affirming care to individuals during their childbearing years. It is my goal to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to affirming care. I strive to listen without judgment and respond to the complex needs of each individual with respect, dignity, and kindness. This approach is rooted in my mission and belief that everyone deserves affirming reproductive care, regardless of their race, citizen status, socioeconomic standing, body size, sexuality, and the many intersecting identities that make them who they are.

My journey began as a certified nursing assistant and education as a practical nurse before discovering my passion for birth work. My interest in birth was ignited after witnessing a birth in the emergency room and supporting my sister through labor and delivery. This led me to pursue training as a birth doula and eventually become a student midwife.

After completing a rigorous 5-year midwifery training, I became a Certified Professional Midwife, Certified Community, and am licensed in the state of Wisconsin and pursuing Minnesota. I also earned the credential of International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in advocating for legislative change to improve access to reproductive healthcare. During my free time, you can find me tending to my indoor and outdoor garden, creating digital art, studying random subjects, and spending quality time with my two dimple-cheeked children, loving partner, and jumbo-sized dog.
